Neighborhood Construction

We had the opportunity to speak with the construction lead and wanted to share a quick update on the AT&T high-speed fiber work currently underway in the neighborhood, which will require access to easements and public right-of-ways.

Timeline:

Work is expected to be completed by May.

Work plan:

Crews will work area by area, starting and finishing on one street before moving to the next area.

Damage claims (including landscaping):

AT&T will be responsible for any damage for up to one year. All complaints or claims will be addressed within 24 hours of reporting.

  • For concerns, claims, or even positive feedback, you may contact AT&T at (314) 544-7688 or [email protected].

What you may see:

Work could involve tree trimming, digging, and cable/terminal work. Crews will do their best to minimize disruptions, and once work is complete, they will remedy any landscaping issues as needed.

On-site support:

Frontline workers may not be able to answer questions. Star Construction (AT&T’s contractor) has several representatives on-site. Look for the truck labeled “Star Construction”—that person is available and happy to help.

Utilities and irrigation:

Crews will not cross a utility line without additional support, which is intended to reduce risk to utilities and irrigation systems. Should damage occur, it will be addressed immediately or as soon as it is identified.

A few steps you can take:

  • Please be patient—this is a significant construction effort and will take time to complete.
  • For safety reasons, please avoid parking on the streets (especially where work is taking place) and be mindful of your speed.

Thank you for your patience as this work progresses. As always, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.
