With the severe winter storm heading our way, we want to ensure everyone stays safe and prepared. Below are a few reminders to help us all navigate the upcoming conditions:
Safety Tips
- Avoid travel if possible, as roads may become treacherous, especially entering and exiting the neighborhood.
- If you must drive, ensure your car has emergency supplies, including blankets, water, and a flashlight.
- Keep your phones charged and have flashlights and extra batteries handy in case of power outages.
- Prevent Frozen Pipes: Let faucets drip to keep water moving and open cabinet doors to allow warm air to circulate around plumbing.
- Check on elderly neighbors or those who may need assistance during the storm.
Neighborhood Assistance
If you notice downed trees or limbs, have a stranded vehicle or need help plowing a drive (or are aware of an elderly neighbor who needs help doing so), please email [email protected]. For urgent or immediate needs, you can text or call 314-650-4969.
Call for Volunteers
We are looking for neighbors willing to assist with storm-related needs. If you’re available to lend a hand, please email [email protected], and we’ll coordinate as needed.
Let’s work together to keep our neighborhood safe during this storm. Stay warm, stay safe, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you or someone nearby needs assistance.
